Ventilation is arranged so as to avoid air contamination and exhaled anaesthetic gases are vented. Intense but shadowless illumination is provided by special lamps. In addition to this, there are also ancillary rooms including changing rooms, scrub rooms, sterilizing rooms, anaesthetic rooms and recovery rooms.
